My recent stay at the Washington Inn was a delightful surprise. the historic charm of the building blended perfectly with the modern comforts offered. the location, just a stone's throw away from the 12th Street BART station, made exploring Oakland and even venturing into San Francisco a breeze. The complimentary continental breakfast was a lovely touch, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. the staff's kindness and helpfulness added a warm touch to the experience, making me feel truly welcome. While the room was not as quiet as I had hoped, the spaciousness and cozy king suite made up for it. the proximity to downtown Oakland and attractions like Jack London Square and the Fox Theatre made it the ideal base for my explorations. I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a mix of sophistication and comfort in the heart of Oakland.
